Endometriosis is a very common health problem. This tissue can be found in organs inside the abdomen (ovary, uterine canal, peritoneum, intestines, rectum, urinary bladder) as well as outside the abdomen (vagina, navel, eye, pleura). Depending on the severity of the symptoms and the rate of endometriotic nodules reaching the inner rectal canal, in some patients, it may be necessary to remove the rectum, which is the last part of the large intestine where the nodule is located, and rejoin the remaining parts, and in some patients it may be necessary to scrape the nodule from the rectum with scissors.
